Never learned to swim but I recommend just laying on your back relaxing and doing little strokes if you drift off too far dont start spazzing out as this will cause drowning just stay on your back and try to paddle back or yell
I can swim. I used to swim in the sea to increase my swimming strength. i was going to do a lifeguard cause but i have perforated ear drums. Regards, M1chael
Not a strong swimmer, though that is my #1 goal for my fitness program. I'm more a "play in the water" type. Diving, floating, just not all those steady strokes. On the other hand, I have been swimming with the sharks lately (in business), and it's been going very well. ;-)
After reading your question i remembered the same question asked by old office colleagues- You can"t swim, how will you save in water, river, sea etc. My reply then and now also is the same - " I cannot swim. So what? Anyhow at appropriate time I am going to dye. Atleast I will die peacefully in water, and you perhaps trying to save yourself, taking trouble of trying to flout yourself, getting fatigue, tension, fear, and best show to people on the banks to see. So let us everybody die their own way.
I can swim, dive. I can easily swim half a mile freestyle. The good thing about swimming is you can learn it as a kid and never swim again for many years and then at the age of let's say 50 you go in for a swim - you still can do it!
