Yep, go with the 336x280 adsense either below the title of your post or floating to the left of the body of the article.
I've seen that, but you know, it always turns me off when I got to a site and I've got to scroll past the adsense block to get to the content, so I would never click on them. I've had a lot of luck putting a text link banner across the top, between the header and content, and also putting banners slap into the middle of the articles. I've gotten more clicks since I've used the ones in the middle of the articles. Anyone using brightly colored ads to get more attention to them?

The current ad placement looks good no need to alter it the one thing you need to do is to add more content . This is pretty much a single pager site ! You can also use a combination of image with text / link ads ! You can always do experiment with your site and then find the magic combination that delivers better results .
