I stumble all my new sites. Get a little bit of traffic at first but then it tends to die down.

why you cant? You can submit all your links, but Im sure you will get no traffic from SU :D
Just submit which links you feel good for other stumblers, share them quality stumbles, you will get more friends and more fun there, that's the only way to have followers.
When you have a lot of followers, you will get ton of traffic from SU.
Traffic from SU is not good (just me, i dont know what do you think) cause low CTR, not stable traffic and subscribers

All depends on personal results I guess. If you get good results.. stumble away.

I stumble my own sites, but only once. However, I agree with some others that stumble traffic is pretty useless. It's decent traffic, but it doesn't convert.

Generally stumbleupon provides something like a platform for visitors to your site to cast a vote. I wouldn’t say it’s wrong for one to do it for his/her own site but it’s kind of funny if you decided to say that yours is the best. Well who wouldn’t?

I stumble all the pages on my site and have only stumbled my own pages and nothing else. I have stumbled nearly a hundred pages and nothing happened so far. Thanks for reminding, though, I need to stumble today's blog post in cutewriting. haha.

Of course you can. Just don't stumble ONLY your pages. Also think about the purpose that social bookmarking sites serve: they are there to help people find good content. So if you have good content on your site, stumble away! :)

Stumble has a hard limit on how many sites you can stumble within the same domain, after that number stumbling does not take effect.
