Can you stop CPM adds from appearing?

How do you stop CPM adds from showing on your your pages. I've been getting a few and keep blocking them manually. They are paying per impression but I make a better ROI on the clicks. Is there a way to stop all CPM Adsense adds from showing?

I'm new(ish) myself, so I could be wrong here, but as I understand it you DON'T get paid for ads appearing on your site. You only get paid for clicks. The CPM report is simply what advertisers pay per 1000 ad displays.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.

    Sorry, Pendragon, but you're wrong.

Advertisers can select certain sites to show CPM ads. That way, they do pay per 1000 impressions. But this is far less common then normal ads.

I do not know if you get paid for clicks on those ads as well.

Its pretty hard to find the advertisers that runs CPM ads on your site, advertisers out there globally and you can only filter sites that you can see on your location...

I too run some ad campaings in adwords and runs CPM ads on few sites and I paid differently for each site.. I believe it depends upon the competition for the particular site that advertisers would like to advertise, if lots of advertisers like displays on a particular site, then the site owner gets high pay for the cpm ads and for low competition for other site and that site owner get low pay.. it depends upon the niche, no. of advertisers etc..

If you remove CPM ads from your site, your revenue will decrease. CPM ads enter into the bidding war too, so removing them will mean you'll have less bids.

You can, just block the advertiser via competitive ad filter.

Contact Google and ask them to disable CPM ads for you. I wouldn't recommend it though. I've had them disabled but then enabled again, don't know if it makes much difference but if there are not many ads in your niche then you should definately keep them.

I was thinking about taking them off too. It seems like i have the same advertisers on my site all the time.
