I personally hate the sounds on a new page load, turns me off very fast. What is unique about your site, other than the nice cars as the background? *edit, sorry just read it isnt your site. IMO I would never buy a pixel site, unless you are Alex Tew your chances are very slim of making it big...or medium

Yeah, and that's the issue - new ideas. Myspace was born, and now look at all the ripoffs (that will never come close to MySpace). Pixel sites, youtube, flickr, Google ripoffs even... only new ideas or old ideas with some REALLY unique twist succeed.
I've seen plenty with one or two ads. I would not buy a pixel site that is for sure. Can't hurt to make one though. I just started something that was inspired by the pixel, but it's for polls.
