Can you still get a decent ranking with squidoo lenses?

Competitive SERP ranking - No.

But it can be used to help other SEO methods.

As a standalone concept it might help if done correctly.

 

they are great, make multiple lenses and interlink them and googlebot will eat it right up.

used in conjunction with good keyword research they can make a lot of money.

 

As stated above, a squidoo lens along with a free blog or 2 for targeted keywords should definetly help increase targeted traffic.

 

Squidoo is almost zero nowadays! I made a lens with tons of backlinks but never ranked good with those pages. I just use squidoo to help as a tiny linking source not for ranking.

 

Backlinks with anchor text should help rank better!

 

I've been a Squidoo Lensmaster for several years now and have used Squidoo to get backlinks to my blogs. I have a couple lenses that have appeared on the front page of Google for my targeted keyword.

One lens in particular has a PR2, http://www.squidoo.com/attract-money (How to Attract Money) and it brings in quite a few hits from Google. The links I've included in the lens that point to my blog are NoFollow, so I get the benefit of passing PR rank.

 

Seems like squidoo isn't good as it was before.

 

I still believe squidoo has potential.. although i do not entirely depend on it; i just love working on all the web2s and link them together

 

I am also using Squidoo but i didn't get good ranking while hub pages are doing good

 

How did you get PR 2-3 with little effort?
