Ok so we all know that asbestos is a high paying keyword. But can you tell me how this guy got asbestos ads to show up on his site? I did a view source and still can't figure it out! http://artschools.goldeye.info/alaska/
I can't see abestos ads there nor hidden keywords. I don't know why you have seen abestos ads in that site unless they were ads from an MFA of abestos buying cheap words in the adsense network.
lol it could be coz i cant see any asbestos adds? :S edit: actually one add for "total asbestos management" just came up
"Are you sure this is not a way to get traffic?" That is NOT my site! In fact I encourage people to NOT click on any ads on that site! I would never pull such a cheesy stunt!
Maybe the content just switched. Might have been an asbestos site a day ago or so. I have seen that happen before when re building a site on a different subject. One I had was plagued with remote control ads for a week or 2 :S Or... maybe some advertiser is specifying to advertise asbestos on his site.
"are you working or doing seo for asbestos related keywords on your own sites?" No, I just thought it was weird that I see asbestos ads when I can't find the word asbestos anywhere in the view source screen.
There are very few words on the site, but "fiber" in one title and "sawmill" in one address could have triggered it.
Don't waste your time in targeting (any) high paying keywords like asbestos, mesothelioma, emphysema, silicosis and asbestosis etc. It might be tempting but the search volume on them is very low. How many people do you think have silicosis or asbestosis that are still alive and/or can search the web. One of my friends has got a analytical laboratory. I optimised his web site for better search placement and get #1 placement for a lot of keywords, including the above. This I did for free and in return I got to place my Google Adsense ads on his web pages. Guess what? I make no money from them! You'll be better off targeting high search volume keywords like Paris Hilton etc.
