Can you skip the sandbox with a redirect?

Im sure this has been asked before, but i couldnt find it anywhere when i searched for it.
If you register a new domain and point an old one at it, can you skip the sandbox? Because if i set up my site on an old domain, it would not get in the sandbox, so theoretically if i point that domain at a different one then that effect should transfer right?

    Any feedback is much appreciated.

This used to work before, but it seems like they fixed it.

Only you could maybe skip the sandbox to buy old domain and not to change main sections.

If big G see that you done some major changes, he will pushed your site to sandbox.
