I am wondering if you can sell new domain if you do, how the buyer would know that he or she has to wait 60 days.
    Thanks

You can buy and sell new domains, the domain can be only pushed into the registrar (As in from a GoDaddy account to another GoDaddy)

You would need to wait 60 days in order to transfer the domain into another company, but that would also cost a transfer fee (Almost same as the register fee) and it will add an other 1 year to the expiry date.

    Hope this helps.

Depends on who your buyers are.

If you are going to find end buyers for your domain names, most of those guys don't understand how things work, so explaining them would be a good choice.

But if you are going to sell your domains here, to resellers/webmasters, they are aware of this kind of things, I simply ask for the username first. Say that you sold a domain that is registered with name.com, i ask for his name.com username, and if he wants it transferred to another company, i tell the situation and suggest him to create a free name.com account so i can push it there, and if he is not satisfied with name.com, he could transfer the domain to his registrar company after the time-period passes.
