Can you sell a domain name that your brought/rented?

    If you own a domain name from HostMonster.com, Can you sell it on places like NameDrive and Sedo.

    Why would you ever be able to sell something you don't own?

    Thank gawd this standard doesn't exist, or rental car companies would have a lot more to worry about than busted frames and empty gas tanks.

    Anytime you can sell it. like godaddy you just need to push your domain to other account and some registrar will give you opportunity to free transfer.

    that depends on the webhost where u have taken, some of them allow and some of them dont
