I was just curious because sometimes you need a banner to be just a few pixels smaller to put in certain places on your site. I know major resizing can't be allowed.. but what if you need a few pixels to where it doesn't even change the quality of the banner, but gets it to fit just right? allowed? not allowed?
This is a gray area. If you are talking about image ads then it shouldn't be a problem as log as you don't talk about it
Ashley, Depends on the individual program. I know with LeadFlash we resize, create or modify creative for Affiliates whenever requested. We actually prefer to do it this way, so images don't come out all pixilated and stretched. Better the ad looks, the better chance you have at making a conversion thru it. Also, it does not damage the "brand" being promoted. If I were you, I would shoot your Affiliate Manager(s) an email requesting whatever you need. At least this way they have the option to accommodate your needs. -=Chipmunk=-
We allow resizing. But, as chipmunk states, I'm more than happy to do this for affiliates to preserve the look of the banner and then return the banner size the affiliate requests.
i dont know, but wont that change the code of teh ad,and some company wont pay you for that , because you agree not to change the code in any way when you sign up.
