Need to be able to embed movies (flv or whatever in youtube style) on site via flash objects, any recommendations on what's a good player solution? in an ideal world, one that supports the following: - interaction with javascript - to full screen - cue action, eg, param to start playback at 3:20 and at 4:12 show overlay Thanks in advance.
I've done lots of searching for a good video player, and couldn't find one that suited my needs.. Most of the free vidplayers out there only do playback, ur lucky to get a volume control etc. Let alone cue-actions and popups. The closest tip i can find for you is JWplayer, but that costs money and looks like crap (imo). So, i've started work on a vidplayer of my own, developed in the free flashdevelop.org IDE Demo (without sound) currently up at http://veerman.ws/fdvp/ I intend to open-source this themeable & extensible videoplayer, like i did with the components in my signature. Due to time-constraints, I could use some help with this from any experienced flash programmer. If you're interested to work with me on this, please PM me.
