I have over the years registered domain names and have quite a few. I would like to sell some of them, but where ? I would like to read about own experiences rather than just a domain service in the crowd of the internet ? Can anyone recommend a place ?
You can try selling at Forum (DP, namepros, DNforum etc) or Marketplace (sedo, tdnam, afternic etc) ... All the Best
Depends on price range really. For less than $100 DP marketplace is a great place and it's free. Over $1,000 and sedo is probably the place. If someone is shelling out a lot of cash to a stranger, then they will most likely want some type of escrow protection like sedo. You obviously pay for that service though.
many palces and also u can sell through your registrar market place. But if u go to sitpoint market place can get some serious buyers
You can sell it at many place such as DomainAftermarket.com http://www.afternic.com/ http://www.moniker.com/aftermarket/sell-domain-name.jsp http://www.greatdomains.com/
it's true, too. Search for domain names on ebay and you'll see several pages. I've had no success with SEDO. I can't even get a single VIEW to my domains for sale, let alone a sale.
I wouldn't definatley not use ebay if its a half decent name, as they rarely fetch their true value. I like Sedo personally. I listed a domain on there, paid the $14 or whatever the price is to have my domain featured in the category showcase and 20days later it sold for $300, which was the asking price. Sedo take 10% and they sorted out the transfer to the client. Easy!
