Can you really make $10,000/month with Article Writing?

i have to agree it seems unrealitic to make 10 grand a month

just using articles...is there someone out there doing it MAYBE!

But they may have a fulltime team of people working for them.

 

I agree you have to be treating it as a real business and making it full time business and not be making $10K just as a part-time work. But still I doubt with full time you can make that much just with articles - maybe lots of outsourcing?

 

I believe it is possible, but an amount like that would definitely come from many cumulative months of hard work writing a ton of articles and submitting them religiously to all the major article directories. Another profit center which is often overlooked is submitting articles for direct payment at places like AC.

To get this much from articles would also almost certainly entail some sort of outsourcing, unless you're willing to work your fingers numb typing 10 hours a day or more...

Umm, a wild guess would be $10k to $15k a month.

 

Don't believe it. You can make this type of money, but articles alone won't get it for you.

One of the clients I do some ghostwriting for has a great affiliate marketing formula that delivers that kind of money. Running p-p-c ads plays a major role in the mix, along with article marketing and serious link building strategies.

And of course, he now has his own products.

It's kind of hard to even guesstimate because it all depends on what kind of offers their articles are pushing.

Yes, knownowppc, of course it can be done.

Break the numbers down.

Rough example:

$2,500 a week.

Figure you get 1 sale out of every 100 visitors. If you are good, you know what you are doing, that is.

Sell a product in which you get a $20 commish.

150 sales a week, a little over 20 sales a day.

Figure around 2,000 people a day. Which, by the way, is not that much traffic.

Multiply that times 30 days.

Submit X number of articles out there to both the article dumpers, like ezine, and, the content websites where there are A LOT of readers, like, say, Askmen.

Just break the numbers down and you will see that this is done all the time.

Is it easy to do? Hell no. It's VERY time consuming, but it can be done.

 

Well, I haven't made that much. However, it is very possible. To make this amount of money it takes time, patience and consistency. You have to write EVERY day. Some people say they write 20 articles a day.

I think it also depends on the niche you are in too. If you are promoting a product in which you get a 4% commission on a $20 product, it may take a lot longer than if you were promoting a product in which you got 50% commission on a $150 product.

im a qualified journalist with loads of experience writing article and still struggle to find work online writing for 12 per 1000 words..

Well if you are an average person then nope it can't be done but If you are someone like Clayton, then yeah certainly.

 

it seams as though people are not willing to pay for quality articles...

i dont think 1.20 per hundred words is to much to ask however people are doing it for 50c

With the right strategy you can make a big amount. What do you mean by articles, articles published on blogs or EA? I got some blogs with content, the question is how to generate traffic. Because with traffic, the sales come in alone. You don't have to do something. So I often concentrate on searching keywords with 3 words in it and then I look with Google Keywords how much searches it get. Then I set up a WordPress blog (I'm really good a it) and after a little time and a few posts I got traffic and I sell the Clickbank Affiliate Products without doing anything.

 

Are there any statistics on how much an average good-quality article brings in sales for a product with say, $20 commission? I would gladly pay $1.20/100 words that CleverLiving quoted (which means about $5 per article), if I knew it will result in at least 1 sale...
