Can You put Adbrite Cheque In UK Bank Account?

I received a cheque this morning from Adbrite for the money that they owe me (not a lot but $20 is better than a poke in the eye).

The question I wanted to ask is can I put this into my British bank account?

 

Yes you can .. but it will take a long time to get cleared.

Yes, of course it's possible. Few weeks ago was the first time I did it in Belgium (the girl had to look up how to book an US check in her system , apparently first time she got a client with an american check).

I think you will get around £11-12 out of it and for me it was in my account in 3-4 workdays, so I suspect it should be the same for the UK.

 

Deposited it into my account today. The cashier said it could take up to 28 days but did not mention a fee. Hopefully it won't be too much.

Yeah.. it will take atleast a month and not less than $7 service charge
