Can you place Google AdSense on adult web sites?

For example; a blog with daily pornographic images being submitted / posted.

    Thanks in advance,
    Richard

Just got banned. Filesharing site. Google email: your file asdfasldfmoaweirnm aweopfmawopfasdf.rar is pornography. We have made a permanent decision to stop serving you ads. Have a nice day!

Figured, ok, well, I'll just find another way. Short answer: there is no other way.
    Long answer:
Adsense is really the only game in town. Oh, sure there are a billion ad networks out there, and I have tried many of them, believe me. The ones that will pay you well don't want filesharing sites or sites with porn. The ones that will show you ads won't pay you. The ones that will pay you will pay you like $0.10 per day, not enough to cover servers at $400. The adult ad networks don't want Asian traffic (and pay even less than conventional advertisers), and so on and so on.
So I can't police every file on my servers. As a filesharing site, the courts even have ruled that you don't have to police every file, filter filenames, or monitor IP addresses. If it's good enough for the courts, why isn't it good enough for Google? Why can't Google send me some sort of takedown notice: "Dear host: we believe file xadsfasdopfimsd.rar is porn. Please take it down or we will be forced to terminate our relationship." DMCA allows you to do this with copyrighted material, but not Google with porn.
Part of what took Limewire down was that the host implicitly admitted that he knew what content was being hosted on his servers (because he was trying to cut a deal with the music industry to pay royalties on downloads, so he must have known the files were copyright). Therefore as a host, I don't really want to know what's on the servers.
So that's the problem with a filesharing site: even if the courts will generally leave you alone, advertisers don't like you.

Nope, definitely not.. Adsense will ban you in a heartbeat. But they'll wait right up until your paycheck.
