I am not sure about optimizing any affiliate url for example clickbank affiliate url in Google or other search engines. Can it be possible to purchase a keyword specific domain and the forward your affiliate url on that domain and do link building for that? Would it be possible to optimize this way, if it is possible then how much effort would it take if it is compared to normal SEO? Alex
Mate you're completely off track. Imagine that a forwarded domain will never rank in the search engines, moreover it will be sandboxed by the search engines. Building links to a forwarded domain = Paradox. Al.
Link building would be a waste of time, it's only good for a high traffic type-in domain and even then I would develop instead of redirect.
^ As above, seen a couple of threads from you asking questions which are just miles away from what you should be doing... read more, and post less, until you at least have some sort of basic idea of how to promote products on clickbank. You are also looking for a cheat / shortcut / quick buck... this isn't really possible, especially not as a complete newbie. Just do some research, read some threads here and see what other people are doing
You would want to use a redirect domain mostly when you want to leave a link that looks appealing to the eyes. And looks legit. www.fixyouracnetoday.com looks a lot better than a clickbank url link. Even though both lead to the same page. But when you are on a forum like this or writing an article or something having a redirect domain looks better. Now of optimizing a keyword. If there is a keyword that is highly searched you should check to see if that keyword is still available as a domain to buy. Then you would not be optimizing the clickbank url. But the keyword you chose that is directly related to the clickbank product you picked out. Once they land on your website you can use image of the product that links directly to clickbank affiliate website. I understand what you are asking. Don't optimize the clickbank url. Optimize a "buying keyword" that is related to the clickbank product your are promoting. Hope that clears up a few things for you. Good luck.
