I have 4 gmail accounts: - one for work - one for friends - one for my site - one to manage google AdSense I have Firefox and Internet Explorer installed, i am signed in with my work account in Firefox and i sign in/out of my other accounts with Internet Explorer. Surly there is some way that i can have all my gmail accounts open at once (without using four different browsers) - imagine you could open four different tabs in Firefox and have a different email account in each one - how cool would that be... Is there a way ? ? ?
I believe it would work with the two browsers trick, but it would not work with different tabs. If you are logged into your Gmail account in one tab, and you open a new tab and type in Gmail.com, it will directly load the inbox of the ID you are currently signed in to.
I downloaded Gmail Manager for Firefox - works ok, but i wish when you clicked on the desired email, it would open up in the same window instead of launching a new tab
I don't understand why you need four gmail accounts? Gmail lets you make use of a + sign in your gmail address. For example... username+work@gmail.com username+friends@gmail.com username+site@gmail.com username+adsense@gmail.com All emails goto 1 inbox, and from here, you can setup filters/rules. Much easier than all this mess...
wow i never thought it will be possible -opening an email accounts at simultaneously.. i thought it will have some problem with the IP...
You can open as many gmail accounts as you want in IE or FF. Simple trick is that not open new gmail inbox in new tab or in new window using ctrl+N. Ctrl+N or new tab carry Session varibales to new window or tab so Every time double click the IE or FF Icon. This will create new instance of browser application and you will be able to open many gmail or hotmail accounts.
