I'm wondering if offering blog commenting services on high PR blog posts is permitted in the marketplace. I'm only asking because I see a lot of closed threads offering this service and I'm wondering if its against the rules here or if its just the thread owner closing the thread.

Actually I would say no -- it would fall under policies of not allowing social media services and not allowing the sale of any products or services that are used to spam others (like posting comments on other blogs for the links). It's being discussed w/ other mods, and so far other mods seem to agree. Until there's a final decision posted here, don't post blog commenting services that involve commenting on 3rd party blogs.

EDIT: Based on discussion amongst mods who weighed in and Shawn's final say the answer is "no, you may not offer blog commenting services."
