Twitter is the fastest growing platform today. It is a micro blogging system that is in real time and moves very rapidly. i was on last night and in just over a minute 5000+ people had commented on the subject I was looking at (tsunami). really amazing. Anyway, you can point it anywhere...your blog, facebook, this forum. Just make sure that you show value and personality and people will follow and trust you. If you can you want to get into a conversation with people and be yourself...don't just pitch them on some deal over and over. I see people out there that have stuff on auto pilot and keep tweeting the same things, I end up unfollowing those that don't add real stuff and are not personal. If done correctly, it can do wonders for you and your business.
There is some social media guys with 50k followers on twitter. All they have to is recommend a product and whammo! A nice little paycheck for them.
That's a good idea. Services like this automate your job, so it gives you time to work on other important things.
Well, it doesn't matter how many/type of followers you've got. It's solely based on the way you market. I'm pretty sure you won't generate quality leads if all you do is post " GET $$ FROM ", you have to start up with normal tweets, and slowly insert tweets about your niche and that will generate quality leads for you. Yugo,
I haven't had any success with Twitter either. I created a couple accounts there, had over a thousand followers within a couple days, but have been unable to monetize anything from it.
We will really get good amount of traffic from twitter if our followers count is more and some times this traffic also converts very well..mostly CPA offers works well and we get subscribers to our blog..but main thing is that we have to utilize the twitter with our own twists..but we will surely successful with marketing in twitter...
The people who make their tweets viral are the people who succeed. If you can put your own twist on something to make it popular or viral, then you have it all figured out.
One of the problems with Twitter is so many people are selling basically junk so your average user gets a whiff of a sales page they tend to go the other way. The key is not a ton of followers but having the right followers.
social media isn't about getting sales leads. It's about building trust and credibility and making your profile more visible online. If all this is done and optimized correctly, the sales will follow. If your main objective is to make $$$ with twitter, learn to use it first.
in my opinion facebook yes, twitter... too much work, not many goals how about Hi5 site?? anyone managed to get money out of it?
I think it will depend more on your linking and how you share some interesting stuff connected to your business and attract followers, thus more income opportunities.
see i cant see myself using facebook to make money... I started using it about 3-4 years ago when it just started, and you had to be invited to the site to even sign up. Back then it was all about connecting with friends, no one was promoting shit on it. I only have friends I know and people I talk to in real life on my facebook, I dont use that for business.
Some people just use twitter to talk about something they are interested in or something about real life. However, using it for making money need some skills, or people will strongly dislike talking with them.
