You can use blogger if you don;t want to spend money. But just make sure you won't violate their TOS as I have some blogspot blogs that has been blocked by blogger because of using their service to promote affiliate sites.

affiliate marketing using blogger? it's little bit more difficult than a website with TDL domain, but if you have good and nice post, i think it should be no problem if you using blogger to sell affiliate
