Are you able to earn money from youtube partnership when you embed other peoples videos and use them on your site? Or do you only earn money on your own video uploads?

You can only earn money from your own uploads. If you embed someone else's video, they'll make money. Not you.

If you need more youtube views (REAL views; none of that $5 BS), then let me know. We can definitely help you out.

You can make some money when you embed video and have traffic on website. You need to use affiliate networks and this is the only way. YouTube won't pay you just for embed video.

AjOnline, theoretically you can't. However, I've seen a lot of videos with YouTubers and there are copyright strikes. For example, even the richest YouTuber - PewDiePie is using film frames to illustrate his anger or happiness. Nevertheless, his partnership requirements are saying that copyright strikes are forbidden. Here's a proof youtube-networks.com/freedom-partnership - an article with requirements. To be honest, I use copyright in my videos too. But I do it insensibly :) And nobody notices, even my partners.

I don`t see how you could. I mean, even if the video is embedded, it will still count as a view to the original video posted on Youtube.
The only way you could make money from embedding is if you charge the owner of the video a tax in order to post their video on your website
