Has anyone experiences income from yahoo advertisement? if so, can you you make living solely from yahoo advertisement only?
depends on what kind of a living you want i suppose. not a lot of people know what it takes to reach a level where your marketing online exclusively, especially if your just a 1 person team. the people that i know which do this and do it will have a team of people working for them and they don't share many tips as to how to startup for obvious reasons
hmmm.. i think yahoo still have some guts... There will a lot of people who promote their product on yahoo... so it can make some money using yahoo advertise
Of course you can, but would you really want to. But then again, it depends what do you consider "make living."
It all depends. You need to have a very good plan that can be sustained for a long time. But I dont think there are many people making a living from Yahoo compared with other programs
Did you mean revenue made through YPN ad publisher? If yes, isn't it will close on Apr 30, 2010? Is it worth to considering the closing YPN?
There are really too many variables to answer your question. Yes you can get traffic, but your best efforts should be put into ranking organically for keywords that you target as "paying" keywords.
It is possible. Have you noticed those advts that come up when you try to log into a yahoo mail account? There are people who make a huge sum of money from yahoo alone. You must remember that Yahoo has several types of advertising. You can buy banner ads, or ppc-type ads. It is very much possible in my opinion.
Why stick with one company only? You should diversify incase one goes down, at least you'll have other backups. And plus google is better
Yes, you can. If you have the expertise and knowledge needed to do so, PPC can be incredibly lucrative.
Jimmy, I agree w/ Kidsko when he said "depends on what kind of a living you want i suppose.". Have you sat down and calculated you monthly expences? Rent/mortgage payment, utilities, food, gas, car, internet service, auto-responder service if any.... ect? Now I don't know if you have any debt such as Credit Cards, student loans, whatever, but I would total those in a seperate list. Work on getting out of debt first, so you only have to cover living expenses each month. Once your debt free, save up 6-12 months of living expenses as a safety net before you leave any regular paying job. And don't forget to factor Med/health insurance in you Cost of living. Once you know the numbers, that is how much you will need to bring in Net each month. The tax man always wants his cut... at least here in the US. Put 30% of you profit in a seperate savings account and that should cover you. So if your COL is say $1,600 each month, then 1600/30= 53.33 or you will need to make and keep $54.00 a day to keep the same level of life style. hope this helps Jonathan
