Hi I am just diving into and learning Seo and was wondering down the road how I would sell my services when the time came. Any way I went to UpWork.com and was wondering has anyone here made good money on their. I was wondering because I see a lot of jobs for $30, $80, $180 dollars some really low numbers for work. Are most the jobs on UpWork just one time on and off page optimization and then your done with them. I am sure there are monthly jobs but just wondering if most the jobs are low one time payments. I browsed around and didn't seem to see any indication that it was fixed monthly hourly ect maybe because I wasn't logged in. Thanks again
Hi people post jobs and you bid for them, the buyer chooses who he employs, you will need to show proof that you can make SEO work, to get any work, I would think. I was going to use them services till I found this website, much better skilled, trusting people on DigitalPoint, IMO. If you have a skill or service people want, you'll make money, anywhere
I do get some regular freelance article writing from Upwork, but to say I am making good money would be an over exaggeration. As for offering Monthly SEO services, sure, it is free to sign up and it would get your profile out there for people that were looking for your services, but I wouldn't hang my hat on it. As for freelance.com, I don't look there anymore, it seems to be the lower price point for work than upwork. Hope this helps
In starting base you must be go with fiverr because on that platform you get business instantly Just write unique gig title and short description about your services Hope its helpful to you.
its all depend on your stretegy when you work on your project when you provide good service to your client your also think about to increase money for your work.
The bottom line is that there are so many people providing service at a cheap price that you really can't get right price for your service. Better is to do email marketing, fb marketing and little bit Seos. People contacting you directly for your service are much better than freelance ones who suck your blood and pay you peanuts.
I researched a lot about Freelance and Elance. If you're trying to bid with others, you can land high-paying gigs if you're qualified. It's not about underbidding others -- it's about your own skills. Employers will choose your higher bid over a lower bid if you have a good portfolio, credentials, experience, etc.. Employers won't want to hire the cheapest person, but the person who can do the best job for a reasonable price.
most seo jobs isn't permanent as once the site ranked, seo contract may stop as well. there are monthly jobs there you just have to spot them but most of them requires a real skills such as web designing or forum jobs like moderator.
If you are a newbie in these platform than you need to lower down your cost to get some project on boards. Once you established your reputation there are good chances to earn have good value projects through these platform. Just build a good reputation by taking small work and than you will start getting invitation as well.
I've used many of these platforms to Buy services. It can be hit or miss but if you have a good business model and offer amazing prompt service yeh you can make money.
