I am returning to content writing after a few years hiatus. I am wondering, do you make your sole income from content writing or do it part-time?
My sole income is writing. Certainly not from the money I make on here, this is just the place to come if you want money for a few more beers at the weekend, with the rates that are paid. However it is certainly possible.
If you write rapidly and are knowledgeable about a wide variety of subjects, you may find success writing for Textbroker. I've written for them in the past. Usually, if your writing quality is hands-down better than the average article, you'll find content seekers who will hire you for direct orders. Depending on the volume of articles you complete, it may only take a few weeks to build a "stable" of bosses who will keep you busy at lucrative rates. Hope this helps.
yes. you can make a sole income with writing If you are looking for better paying jobs as a writer you might want to check how much the rates are for writing a good sales letter.
This depends on what country you live in and the exchange rate of your local currency, compared to the cost of living, and how much you can demand for your services. Native English speakers from countries such as the U.S. and U.K. can demand a higher rate than writers from elsewhere.
I know many people that make a lot of money from writing. You can do so by becoming a redactor for News websites. I would hire you for my site www.roundnews.com but we don't have any new job openings right now. PM me your CV, example of your work, etc and I will consider you when we hire more redactors. Alternatively if you really want something to do right now I can point you to the right direction in finding other news websites that will pay you to write them a lot of content.
Maybe you should have a job opening or two ... From your front page - Should be: Scientists have shown that our calculation ... Should be: Islamist Mohamed Morsi is the newly elected president of ... Oddball capitalization, if headline, cap 'em all, if tagline, cap the first word only. Just a few with a quick glance.
Yes, you can make quite a solid income with content writing. Maybe not as much as doing other things, but yes, you can make it.
Being a content writer is only the beginning. Becoming a copy writer, an ebook writer, a kindle book writer, a white paper writer are the ways you continue to write content but earn more money for every hour you spend working on those products. It's all about choice and determination as well. Do you want to work for people the rest of your life to earn that income or do you want to work for yourself and earn the same amount passively. Best of luck everyone!
Yes you can but it might take up to a year to get returning clients, a reputation and a quality so you can charge really high rates for your services that people will buy it.
The point is to get yourself in the habit of sitting down at a computer screen (used to be a typewriter in my day), opening a vein, and bleeding on the keys until you've got a few thousand words written. Once you've got the content you can look into selling PLR on Flippa or this site, or marketing your services to PLR member sites. Be ready with a sample to show themk to give them an idea of the quality of your work, and be flexible with your rates so that you can make a deal. You'll generally earn more money selling bulk articles than kyou will each article by the word. In other words, you'll get paid multiple times for writing once. Jon
It all depends on you, as do most things in life. If you have the motivation then you will make it happen one way or another.
I just make my living by writing articles. For extra cash, I do seo tasks, voice recording, and translation. I learnt photoshop, but I don't have experience on it, have to get started with it.
Nice Jon. Classic writing quote. And odd as it is, it usually rings true for a lot of writers. aharris77 - If you can bang out content that people want to read, then you can sell it. If you've got one client, you can get more. You can even write for yourself in your spare time to build up your rep on a blog. Point is, if you put out good work. Yes, you can make a living. Good luck.
