Its pretty tough although there are alternatives. But if only you are using the alternative whereas the world is stuck on paypal, whats the use.

    Sadly no :(
I hope Google Checkout rate is cheaper and enable some countries, which are not allowed by Paypal, to withdraw fund to their bank account.

I agree: paypal just got bank status here in the EU. That is going to help them get bigger, not smaller.
But it is a good idea to diversify your business. Being dependent on paypal, or google for that matter, is not a good idea.

    I Love MoneyBookers. Why?

In India there are many terrible stories about credit card. So i afraid to get one. There is no option in PayPal to get verified without credit card. You can't add Indian bank account. Simply it will take at least one month to en cash your fund from paypal. Also without getting varified you can withdraw a max of 3000$ from paypal.

But with MoneyBookers, you can verify using your Resident / Business Address. One verified, limit is 2500 Euro / 90 Days. When you verify your bank account the limit increase to further 2500 Euros / 90 days.

You can add your bank account (Indian) and withdraw your MoneyBookers fund to your bank account and it takes only a maximum of 5 days.

It is simply great, atleast for Indian Web Masters.

Google Checkout is free till the end of the year so that everyone can test it. Hopefully their regular fees will be acceptable, too. I don't see them higher than PP's anyway, that's competition afterall, new comers have to bring in better deals

I personally could live without paypal, however my life wouldn't be all that fruitful... I prefer it because it has the best guarantees...

It's difficult at the moment to live without paypal, but other companies are coming forward eg. Egold.
Soon we'll be able to manage, but not just yet.

PP doesn't give much guarantee, Bender. It can either be on your site or on the other one, depends on how lucky you are. Well, it depends on the nature of your business and who your customers are.

Eh, I wish I had a better chance to learn using e-gold myself. I generally don;t spend much time studying businesses. If it doesn't tell me easily how transactions are taking place then I pass straight to the next one. I had an e-gold account and got some money in it, too. Luckily I got it exchanged to Paypal and so far I am not sure how I was going to withdraw my e-gold funds. That sucks in a business when obvious things aren't clear enough. e-gold is like that IMO.

It would be hard to do business without using Paypal. I love their low fees. Also being able to withdraw your money instantly with their ATM card is great. But if for some reason I couldn't use them anymore I would go with Google checkout or 2CO.

It tooks years for paypal to get to my country so if some other enterprise takes over i will probably have to wait again. That would be disaster for me
