Rightly said Clive, infact i would always want a competition but since Paypal is for limited users only and not for the 3rd world countries while Moneybookers services are to be found everywhere neglecting the type of country it is, so i do hope they are always in a great competition like those Cellular services in my area....

possible but very awkward. some people will only do paypal because of problems with moneybookers etc.

plus the lively forexstyle "ill swap $50 pp for $45 MB" market on here would be dead

i think paypals time is limited by google and 2co

Let's wait for google checkout to extend, hopefully they will do their job well and leave Paypal behind. good start anyway, only a bit slow, still.

Well, at least for some of us Google Checkout has become a thread to Paypal.
I plan to use it pretty soon, just don't have the time to play with google's pay buttons and stuff yet :)

If paypal were gone, one of their competitors would rise up and we would all be using that - so no worries about it from that front. Of course if one user gets banned or something, that's a problem for them. For me: I'd miss about 5% of my monthly earnings, so yea, I'd live. But I would feel it.

Well, I have been living without PayPal since it started (1999???), they just aren't interested in smaller countries like Estonia. But it is possible to live without it, it just isn't possible to do online business without it.

Sounds like panic but no need to be worried.
    1. That won't happen. Paypal isn't going down anytime soon.
    2. Even if it does go down, we still have good alternatives.

You cant live without it...my country is not supported yet and is damn hard to sell or buy something :(

In the future we must to sign up for an alternate account like MoneyBookers.com...i use it and i am very happy with the support...

well, cant live without it at the moment...unless google comes out with GPay LOL

They are currently the largest, widely accepted and have one of the lowest fees in the industry with above average service.
