I'm wondering this myself. As Eben Pagan says, marketing is 3 parts: content conversion traffic Let's assume that you have your site up and running, that's the content and conversion out of the way, at least for now. So concentrate on the traffic. I personally find that articles on ezinearticles.com are the most highly converting. After submitting the article, there is a big "kick" of traffic that soon dies down very quickly. But in the long term, I still get people visiting my articles and buying, even several months later, even a year later. So, what do you think is the minimum no. of articles you need to submit every day to live off it? Is 10 articles per day, every day, enough to live on? What do you think? I might try this experiment.
i wont depend on one source whether is it is earning or generating traffic . once i start getting traffic from one source ill continue that task & devote some time for finding other sources too
It would be extremely difficult and repetitive work. Not to mention that the money you receive would be through an Internet payment gateway and not something you can easily settle a dispute for.
Visit my noob guide (sig) for all you need to know about surviving off articles (and only articles) until it pays for something better. Hell yes: You can make a KILLING with articles - especially if you work smarter, not harder. Does eZines pay? If not, then I wouldn't even post there Some of this stuff on this forum seems like people are misinforming each other...
10 articles a day! How can you even think of 10 articles a day to write? do people so that? If so how do you get ideas? I have a website on 'depression for' instance. No way I can think of 10 articles a day on that unless they are like 3rd grade level articles of like 200 words each. Thats 70 articles a week! That would be incredible for one subject that I know little about. I don't even think I could write 5 articles a day for multiple subjects, especially since I work full time. How do people manage this?
You can make your living off article marketing, but the essence is you need to choose your keywords mindfully and need to write continuously. If you can write fast then it is good, but consider that good quality brings good result. You may enlarge your traffic by submitting more article a day into only one article directory or to submit more unique articles into more directories. Hope it helps, Sandor
It is So easy you will go nuts when I finish posting this. You think of anything. Anything at all. Then you pick a couple of good keywords to focus on for it. Then you look at some other articles online. Then you rehash them and submit them. Article every 1/2 hour. How do you think people sell them here 10-for-$10? They rehash. It is still unique. Unique is all that matters, even if it is a story that has already been told. Do you know how many people buy articles for 10 for 10 dollars then submit them to a paying directory and make back $30? My friend, there is Nothing that has not been written about - don't stress your brain - just uni-linguistically translate stuff Put your heart into your writing projects, but for 3 dollars an article (more if you are lucky), how much can they expect from you? 3 dollars is not worth more than a half hour of work. If you are versed on a subject, write 500 words on it. if you are not, google it and there is ALL the inspiration you need Now, you are writing for money - the traffic becomes a lowly, but worthwhile the same, bonus
i'm a complete newbie here but one question where do u post these articles, i have a blog bt which i kinda wrote a product review, but am getting no traffic , is there a job that just lets uu write to ur hearts content and get paid, like writing reviews eg book reviews, n maybe a few short stories?
You can visit the buy/sell/trade section, have to have like 15 posts and been a member for at least 14 days. There you can advertise for article writing services and charge people per article that you write. You can also look at some free lancing websites and bid on article writing jobs to make some extra cash. You will not become rich from doing this, but if you like to write and can type fast then I think it would work for you.
Yes, that is exactly what I am on about above in my other posts. Very excited about it so I started to share. Here is the page for you, it explains pretty much everything you need to know. The third part isn't up yet, but you already have a blog anyway (3rd section is for setting one up, tentatively)- just promote your blog at the bottom of your articles while you use this guide: http://how-to-make-good-money-online.110mb.com/ (visit "Beginner") Please excuse it, it is currently a little ugly, but the information is valuable. It's very work in progress (have a thread in 'reviews' here if anyone wants to give some advice?) but I'm sharing it and adding to it as I can. It works, and a lot of people are doing well with it. The more unique content any given domain has, the more powerful they are for any given term in search engines. Ad a thriving social community and ladder to rise for the residual part of it all (you get paid per article in USA, and all the world gets paid $1.50 and up from there for every 1000 views their contents aggregate) 5 articles x 5 days a week x 52 weeks = potential of recurring payment of $1.50 x 13000 and more. That's if they All get 1000 views, and Only 1000 views. What if some get 30,000 views? 100k? It's not uncommon for people who do it as a full time job, though thus far, personally, I can only dream Hope this helps all, -UnFunded
Well, I wouldn't say its enough to live off, especially if you get tired of writing 10 articles a 10! I think its great as a supplemental boost. Whats that saying you don't want to milk the cow until there is nothing left? or something. So really, I think the more you have going on that helps a single goal the better. Similar to gestalt theory, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
