Can you help

    I am completely new to SEO. I have some very basic questions that i hope some one can help me with.

    1. How does SEO work
    2. What do you need to do to get your site listed first on google for a keyword.

    I have read articles and googled SEO but i would really like to hear what an expert in this field has to say about the two questions i have asked, thanks in advance

    First, read the Google Bible. You should be able to get a good picture of how to optimize for search engine after reading it.

    Now, to rank number 1 in Google, reread the Bible ;)


    Seriously, follow what Google suggests and let us know once you have doubts in specific areas... that will make us easier to address your doubts :)
