Can you help me with a DNS/Domain/Host flavoured problem......?

    I recently purchased a domain from Domaincheap.com. I have a hosting package with Hostgator.com.

I'm having real trouble getting my Domaincheap bought domain to my Hostgator server.

I'm not a N00b as such, but I don't have any experience with DNS and Host records ect.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello there,

This should be easy enough. Log into your account with DomainCheap and update your name servers with the ones the HostGator sent you when you signed up. Once changed, it may take up to 48 hours to fully propagate through the internet.

you can usually see the name servers (NS1.*****.COM and NS2.*****.COM) on the left sidebar of Hostgator CPanel. If you need more help, PM me.

Set the nameservers at Domaincheap to the HostGator nameservers and then add it as a parked or addon domain in your cpanel.
