I had a community on my blog. It was with theblogfrog. However, blogfrog will be shutting down May 31. I liked how I could embed their community into my website. I started a google community. However, I really want something that I can embed into my blog/site. I'm thinking about getting an embedded forum. I'm thinking that I could still keep the google community and have an embeddable forum on my blog/site. What do you think? Any comments will be very much appreciated. Thanks!
hmm. I don't follow that entirely but you have a range of options here. I am not entirely clear if you are trying iframe etc. someone else's site but its pretty trivial to stick a forum in wp with bbpress or bridging logins with any other typical forum system from SMF to VB or what have you.(I don't suggest the latter) Hell, you can turn wordpress into a full blown social network with a forum in under an hour. http://buddypress.org/ hope I didn't completely miss your question here. You can embed disqus forums. It's basic but since you don't a proper CMS and don't host the site yourself your choices are limited. Disqus is your only option. http://disqus.com/ Create account. Follow guides to setup a forum on disqus then take the embed code. Put the embed code on the page you'd like the forum to be. Done.
