Read the posts in this forum; there are many asking the same question or very similar so your answers are already here. There are many writers in this forum sharing their experience, their resources, links and opinions freely in the posts on this page and in the archives; find them, look at them, read them. Being able to research your subject is one of the first requirements of a writer. Research your subject. Phil
books and practice also, if you go on Ezinearticles.com you can find some good ideas/articles on content/article/copywriting tips. and also keep in touch with some of us on this forum.
What you are asking about are two completely different avenues. First, decide if you're going to go into advertising copywriting or writing articles. That will firm up your path a bit. If you're going to do article writing, you don't need to read books like "Tested Advertising Methods" or blogs from advertising copywriters (unless you're writing an article about them ).
Read the threads of this forum. Network with the members of Dp. They will mentor you if you have the potential. In case you get stuck up post your problem. The members will be glad to lend a helping hand.

I started writing articles a few months ago. researching is not that hard. the problem is to use English properly and to be able to write lots of different articles on the same subject
