Getting excited about something is always good and I would like to dream, however I find reality a bit more dramatic and expectations need to be adjusted. I've replied to you by personal message. If you have good suggestions, I suggest that you either place them here for others to learn or well just be exchanging opinions and help each out in whatever is at our reach.

For me, more clicks are good as long as the google TOS is respected and the site continues usable. Nobody likes ad-fested sites and my community is educated enough not to click on ads blindly (hence the thousands of page views and less than a 100 clicks per day).

I agree. However, I am better off dedicating my time and effort to something that I am passionate about, than just building sites for profit. On this case, I love the community, I love the discussions and I am motivated each day to improve the site and do something better.

For me, ad revenue is a side effect from a healthy site.

Thanks for the comments so far. Really nice to reflect on these matters with you guys. If someone wants to add anything, please do so.
    :)

Well...I currently carry an AX of 94k on my largest site but with pagaviews of 4.2
million across 2 sites and a humble 47,000+ clicks per month. Trust me I have
placed many suggestions on DP to help others learn. The sad truth is that some
people are just not willing to learn. Others are just not willing to accept results.

Form what I see you rate your educated users higher than what they rate you. They
come...find your information useful and leave...come back again when they need to
figure something out and leave again. Most who post feel that their contribution to
your site is enough as it is adding to your site. People think very highly of the words
they type out in a forum.

The key is providing them with a Service...you don't have to be add infested as a matter
of fact...you could REMOVE all other ads and just keep the 4 ads that I have in mind
for this servers. Soooo you could remove the top and bottom banner if you like because
they won't help or hinder what I am trying to do.

For me...ad revenue was a bi-product of a great site. Matter of fact when I started my
site, I didn't even have ads on it. But since my site provided a service...that service
was actually costing me monthly and the price grew as my user started to grow. So
either A. I come out of pocket $800 to $1000 a month to provide a free service for my
users or I drop in ads.

I am passionate about saving people money and that is what my site allows thousands
to do everyday. Instead of being gouged by large companies.

Well to date I have never had anyone complain about the ads and my users love my site.
Facebook fan page of 57,000 strong and growing everyday. Don't sleep on the power of
    a Facebook page.

Then again...you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink!

What you propose is for me to place a form for a "free" service on my site that will drive visitors to your site. I really have no interest in drinking from that water. I'm a horse, not the same as a donkey..

I'm more interested in exchanging tips with other webmasters about Adsense improvements on their sites, thanks.

    Uh Uh...no

If you were just another blogger/forum/site with Alexa of 4,000,000 then yea...um go slap the free widget code on
    your site...

Since that not bing the case...What I am saying is let's work together and develop my system into your site. See
how it goes for 2 weeks. I am willing to invest in the cost of a system to run it for 15 days and see how it goes.
All you have to gain is more traffic and more adsense income...I mean what do you have to lose? You can listen to
the people who talk but aren't doing anything...or you can work with someone who is doing $8000 to $10,000
a month with adsense. 100% White Hat!

Ender your screenshot shows that you are on adsense more or less for one year ($70,000 / $6,000 it's about that). I was an adsense publisher since 2003 and I've been kicked out last july. So don't feel so safe about adsense and whitehat. I was whitehat all the way too, made some great earnings, it didn't prevent adsense to give me the boot :)
This is off topic, but just saying :)

As said several times before, I will not trial a completely unrelated SMS widget on my website.

Propose site improvements, SEO techniques, whatever. Just spare this discussion from stories related to fantastic profit over incredibly short amounts of time. Yes, I understood that I'm missing out on thousands of dollars per day and many others are already profiting. I apply the principle: "If something seems too good to be true, it probably isn't" and I'm yet to be proven wrong on these cases..

I'm not going to install any widgets or redirect traffic elsewhere.

    Thank you.

You have over 10,000 AD CLICKS per day. The original poster only has over 10,000 VISITORS per day. If you claim you can make his current traffic bring in a profit of $100-$500 per day then your site must bring in over $5,000 per day... So why would you ever want to do work with him? His site is miniscule compared to yours............ This is why you are full of shit.

Handle your biz bro......keep on keepin on and thanx for the plug...some will just
    NEVER get it...

Umm...no about 1500 to 1800 AD CLICKS per day.

You know what everyone I think I read something wrong...I was looking at his inflated
Alexa ranking. I think he inflated that number to get more bids when he was trying to
    sale the site.

Understand in my field that when you get a lower Alexa ranking...you are getting a lot
more traffic...but in his case...his Alexa ranking is low but he is not getting traffic like
    I thought.

All in all I think something is fishy with his stats...like he said...something looks too good
to be true then it usually is to good to be true. I got a lil excited when I seen this:

4099 users are online (in the past 15 minutes)
40 members, 4059 guests, 0 anonymous users (See full list)

But now I realize that means nothing as I do not believe that number to be relative to
the people who actually visited the site in a 15 min span. Not sure how this number was
    even generated.

So in the end if he only gets 10k visitors a day...a lot of them must be using the Alexa
tool bar...or again...he inflated the Alexa and his real Alexa rank should be 150k - 250k.

My bad man for wasting all of our time...but let me leave you folks with one last screen:

Whenever a visitor leaves the browser window open on one of our pages they are counted as online. Being a technical board, I imagine many technicians leave it open for quick reference to some tutorial or instructions. Don't confuse online users as page views or unique viewers, each one is a different thing.

Fake Alexa? I celebrate each time a 10k milestone is surpassed: http://goo.gl/aOJGy and that only happens because our site is referred from paper magazines to wikipedia pages: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winbuilder The only fake thing around here is a guy with an Indian SMS site trying to pass as something else.

I make no claims of a magic shampoo formula for overnight success nor present fake revenues.

Show to the world an unbiased evidence that your adsense account is real. Put up for listing your site on flippa.com and from there link your adsense account to confirm the earnings. You can place a high price, say a million USD to prevent bids if you wish.

If I am wrong and flippa confirms your earnings then I will publicly apologize. Otherwise, get off my lawn.

    Update to the adsense tracking.

On Saturday the site provided 12 USD with 65 clicks, on Sunday it came about with 92 clicks and 19 USD.

Was unexpected to see such value on Sunday (I did nothing to the site), the biggest performer were the text unit ads for some odd reason.

    Will continue experimenting.

Hi there. First of all, I'd like to say that I'm extremely impressed with what you've accomplished. Many people in our business would kill for this type of site that gets this volume of traffic. Kudos, from that perspective.

As has been mentioned several times up to now, your monetization strategy may not be the best. If you want to go with ads, it might be best to sell ad space independently instead of relying on a platform like adsense. People are always looking for high-volume sites that get lots of traffic, so if you can find people within your niche that are trying to promote their own interests, you can sell them on the benefits of advertising through your site directly (by listing the same details you gave us in the opening post).

Also, you might consider using some of the strategies that places like DigitalPoint and WarriorForum use. WF, for instance, generates tons of money every single day because they have the size, the interest from the community, and they have platforms where users can market themselves. If you give your site a marketplace where people can buy and trade (while taking a small cut from all of the transactions), you could grow your revenue exponentially. Obviously, putting such a system in place is easier said than done, but the hard part is already taken care of (in having the site, traffic, and interest).

    Hope that this helps.
