Can You Get Someone's Adsense Account Banned?

We have had our Adsense account banned, even though we have never done anything to artificially inflate traffic or clicks. We would never do that, and have been following all guidelines perfectly for many many years.

So it seems that whatever "suspicious activity" Google thinks they see, it is not from us, it is from someone else. Perhaps someone clicking on our ads too many times or something/

But what this makes me wonder is: what if you wanted to get someone banned from Google Adsense? Couldn't you just go to their site and click on their ads a lot, maybe over several days or weeks, and that will eventually get their account banned by Google?

If so, that is not really fair is it?

Usually when you notice something suspicious or unreal stuff happening with your account, like getting so many clicks from same IP Address (check your server logs for that), you should always immediately notify Google adsense support about that, So that they know that you care about your account & advertisers and you're not doing anything illegal. That's what you are supposed to do when you see something suspicious happening with your account or for Invalid Clicks. You probably didn't do that.

no, i didn't do that, because our code was put on about 10 of our sites, so to monitor all traffic details for all 10 sites is a bit too burdensome i think. but we certainly didn't notice anything wrong with any traffic for any of the sites.

Then, only Google Adsense guys can tell you why the hell they banned your account, But Unfortunately they won't ever tell those reasons.

Adsense team rarely makes mistakes. Some evil person hardly can get your account banned. You are the only person guilty if your account is banned.

There may be two reasons behind adsense account blocking:
    1. You violate the terms at your own including own clicks, impression, autosurf, restricted traffic, spam emails.
    2. Others harmed you due to vengeance. It may happen if someone made invalid clicks, spammed emails with your adsense id.

Google can tell if somebody has been clicking links on your site over and over again so you don't need to worry about that. Google did just recently go on a real tear to get rid of low quality MFA sites, you may have gotten caught up in that. They have been de-indexing a lot of sites and banning adsense accounts if you have sites with little content or poor quality content.

It's not really fair as he/she (adsense account owner) didn't do anything wrong on you. But it is also true that there are some people loves to do this just for fun.
