If you honestly think that you have to wait for a PR or BL update to rank well, you are sorely mistaken my friend.
You must work at Google to know for sure that the changes in SERPs in the first week of Feb were due to an "algo change" and not a PR update. I explicitly mentioned that the toolbar PR that we see was different from the real PR that is used to calculate SERPs. Maybe you should read the entire thread before you post the next time. Finally, as much as I enjoy spending the whole day defending my findings on a forum, I do believe I could spend this time in a much better way by working on my websites. When I first started posting on this thread, I thought that I could pass on some of the knowledge that I have acquired over time (based on experiments and not speculation) and save some poor guy from getting trapped by some rip-off who might get him in the top 10 by using a link farm (or something similar), take his money and withdraw his links only to leave him back where he was (not in the top 10 and $50 poorer). You guys obviously don't need my advise in this case, so I suppose I will retire from this thread. Adios!! P.S: Don't forget .... next PR update (or Algo change) is due in the first/second week of May and you'll all see BIG jumps in rankings when that happens. Here's the evidence you guys wanted (in advance)!!
digitalpoint I persume you are the Admin here. You say you can get top 1-5 Rank for 1 day...and then its up to e-booked. How? I mean if its Google wouldnt that mean it would stay on the top 10 till the next day? would it be possible for me to put my site up on the top ten within one day??? I've never actually heard of this im just newbie.... I was told that it takes a month for google to update.
Would anyone mind putting my site on the Top 10 for free? lol didnt think so. It would be great if anyone was willing to help out a PSP gaming site out there? I dont know what I can offer at the moment to you guys. Need to get my bank account soon. :-/ Unless anyone here wants a 100 Gmail invites in return? lol :-D
Why would anyone want to do that? i mean, people here are working hard to do their own sites. Doing someone else's for free? Bad business.
It's a bold statement. It is very possible, and I can and have done it several times. I have been toying with the idea of charging for the service, but am still working out the details. Personally I would try and do it yourself first. While I can get a page/keywords ranked quickly, there is no guarantee they will stay in the top 10. The only way to do that is to keep paying. $50 is pretty cheap IMHO. Anyway, I have experimented with a process for getting a page ranked in the top 10 and it has about a 95% or better success rate. I would say around the same percentage for keeping it there.
I can do it in 5 minutes, I developed a program to do this, it is called a credit card, you then go to Google.com and click on advertising programs, then you go to the ADWORDS link, create an ad and you are in the top 10 and will stay there as long as your credit limit is great PS: 100% success rate
hehe ... I agree, when it comes to organic rankings, you have to do it right, focus long term and know what you want. I get calls from people asking : what can you get me for like 100 bucks? i tell them : go PPC!
I have seen people generate a lot of business with as little as $50 pay per click money. You have to spend some time looking for keywords that the bigger companies are overlooking and your ROI can be very high!
or time ... to acquire the skills and then implement them onto your projects .... which does cost money when someone else is doing it for you.
