I have a PHPBAYPRO site with a PR4 - but that PR was got on the domain before I put on the ebay stuff.
I will second what potentmix has said. My highest is 3 and have a few ones and twos. I started in Oct. 07.
i have one at two, three at one and several at zero. my best income earner by by far is one at zero. so page rank does not always equate to income.
I have one that is PR 2. If you use mozilla firefox install this addon and it will tell you the PR of any website you happen to be on. Its pretty good. Installation is here !
The older the site.. the higher the PR (in my experience) with a max of about 2-3. All of my newer eBay store fronts (Not BANS) start at PR0 once they're indexed. Seems like 6 months or so, they'll end up at PR1, and if they've been around longer than a year.. they may make it to PR2, possibly PR3. Personally, I don't care too much about PR, since I drive traffic with PPC anyway. hanji
Anysite can get pagerank. Pagerank is calculated by how many links are pointed at your site, on a page per page basis (it is possible for an inner page of your site to outrank your homepage). Links from pages with a higher PR will raise your PR faster than links from pages with low PR. I believe, but don't quote me, that links from sites with QUALITY content in Googles eyes will have better value for your site. For example, if you get a link from a site like CNN.com, it would hold much more value than a link from a spammy site, or a site that is known to sell links, no matter what the PR of that page. By the way, pagerank has nothing to do with where you rank in Google's results. Although if your site has a high page rank, it means you have lots of links, which means you MIGHT rank good for some of the keywords that are in the Anchor text of the links pointing to your site. This has been your PR education for the day. I am not a licensed teacher, only an educated guesser.
