When I check keyword for example "accountancy services" through the Google adword I can see that such word has 4800 searches per month for Google.co.uk
But if you tipe this keyword in google.co.uk and click the first couple webs ( Google top1-5
you can see that Alexa 26982456
It means no visitas come to this website.
I cannot understand huge search demand and "0" visites. Why that
    Thanks

SO now you know Alexa is not a reliable metric for your keywords research.

4800 searches per month makes approximately 160 searches per day. But it doesn't insure that site at #1 will get all 160 hits. It may get at most 50 to 60 hits. Many users go directly to results at lower places, some users go to sponsored links. Site at #2 may get 10 to 15 hits and sites at lower positing may get even lesser. This may be a reason.

Moreover this interpretation may not be correct for other keywords with similar search volume and industry.

Guys, you're really not targeting this problem at the right level: Alexa is not accurate. End of the story.

I have websites with only a couple of hundred hits a day with a very good Alexa rank and some with a couple of thousand hits with a very poor Alexa rank.

    Lesson: Alexa is not accurate.

Alexa has never been accurate. Just think, G is above them but if you add Yahoo MSN/Live, ASK, and the rest, Alexa should be higher. It never is.

Never use Alexa as a tool or measurement for anything. Expecially SEO.

I agree w/ catanich and bentremblay... Ignore Alexa ratings... Worthless for the most part as any type of measurement.

It's like trying to infer how a URL ranks for it's keywords based on the URLs Toolbar PR. "Oh. It's a PR6 page so it must rank good!" No... Just means it has a lot of links (or possibly a few strong links). That same page may not rank for ANY keywords they are targeting and may get zero traffic from the engines.

I have always read that alexa is pretty unreliable. I would take anything it tells you too seriously.

Alexa normally shows better ranks for webmaster niche websites. If it's a totally brick and mortar niche where most SEOs/webmasters don't attempt to optimize, no one will be visiting the site with an alexa installed browser.
