    It's really hard to sell your artwork online, it's better to know what the client needs, sell your services before making anything.. But you have to have a great portfolio first. Graphicriver is there to sell your already made artworks but deviantart is there to find clients to work for.

    Yes you definitely can. I have sold graphics at istockphoto.com and the sales are pretty good.
