I have a couple of design done in illustrator and I was wondering if there was a way I can sell them online and earn some bucks. I have heard of selling your paintings and drawings but is it possible for your digital artwork?

2 basics, 1. what is the demand, needs from buyers (check google keyadwords to get an insight). 2. learn to sell.

Sure. Logo design is very valuable, especially if you have a talent for abstract art.

You can also sell them in deviantart. If you have more confidence, join the contest on "Buy, Sell, Trade" sub-forum. Good luck!

I doubt about this.....if there isn't a demand for something or you are positioned in a very competitive category, u won't sell much or nothing.

I would also check out art.com. You can upload your own designs to sell there I believe.

I think the best way to start is

Start a fan page on facebook
    - Add your friends as fans
    - Make sure you are clear with what your 'About Us' page says
    - Display low res copies of the artwork
    - Get your friends and fans to share your pic

    Also explore using deviantart.com

I don't know about cache but the strange thing is I can not see the impressions in Google website for couple of days back and people do come from google which I have seen in Google Analytics, so something is going on with Google.

Yes, digital artwork has quite a value if it is good. There are a number of people who'd be interested to buy from you provided you go to the right place. I'm sorry but I dont specifically know any place, but you can always google it, right ? ;)

After lots of experience with the top fine art sales portals - I recommend www.FineArtAmerica.com. For $30 a year they handle POD (Print-On-Demand) printing of posters or greeting cards and do framing and glass, if required. FAA charges zero commission on sales - $30 a year is the total cost. And you set your own prices. Great site, great people, free "artist's website included.

I'm curious to know the answer to this too. Is there a way to sell digital artwork and not just services?
