I have found that twitter is brilliant for driving sales on my website. However, I have had no success in using Facebook in the same way. With twitter, I now have c.1200 followers, who are all foodies and really into Twitter, they're now providing 50% of my sales, and offer referrals and promotion. I interact with them in random conversations and gentle comments about my products. Eg. "It seems the summer truffle season has arrived! These are amazing!!" rather than direct selling messages. With Facebook, I have a fan page and I've even done competitions to try to drive traffic, and I just can't seem to get any traction. Does anyone have success stories to share? Thanks, Hugo
Hi Ranjithsf1, I would definitely agree that I haven't found the way of harnessing Facebook in the same way. I'm wondering if other people have found this possible?
Yes you can, I actually put up a estore on my facebook page and I am testing it right now - if you are interested to check it out, just click on the tab that says Shop on my Page
