Can you display an identical ad block twice on the same page?

I've seen a website that displays an identical AdSense block twice on the same page. It means pasting javascript code twice. Is this allowed?

If not, is this only for premier account holder?

I don't think your impression counts will be counted double but does anyone know if it is effective.

    Yes,

You can have 3 adsense for content units per web page, doesn't matter what size. So yes, you could have 3 768x60 units one page. Hope this helps.

Thanks ssandecki. I guess the more you have, providing tastefully blended, the more chance of them getting clicked.

Yes & No, having to many can drive down your CTR and your earnings. Beware of the smart pricing troll, hes out there lurking ;)

You can have more then 3 .
    3 Text-Image ads
    2 search boxes
    3 link units ads
One link for each referral of Google products

Enjoy, but placing all those together on one page will make it and ad farm .

try to keep the first ad that you can see on the code visible because it will have the best ads .
