Can you check loading time of the site ?

I have been trying to improve the loading time of site by reducing the payload and etc. I heard from visitors that http://www.templateswork.com is taking more time to load .

Can you pls let me know how much time in sec it takes to load in your place ?

It takes 2.50 seconds to load your page, which is not bad.

 

Thanks. I believe this is when you access the site first time. Next time it should be faster because of downloaded css and etc.

There are lots of sites to check the site speed and also a number of tips to improve the site speed... some of them are- gomez, websiteoptimization.. and i dont have the link here with me, but i m pretty sure there is some tool offered by yahoo as well

 

alertra.com it will give you good picture of your sites loading time.

 

you can use tools.pingdom.com it will tell you specifically with files are taking long time to be loaded

 

you can always use the ping command
