Can you charge press release companies for publishing their articles on your website?

Several months ago, I was contacted by MarketWire to host their articles on my website. Their articles are delivered to my website via RSS feeds. Since their press releases be interesting to my readers, I agreed to host them for free.

Now, I'm contacted by MarketWire's competitor BusinessWire to host their press releases, too. I was wondering if I can sell the exclusive right (of publishing press releases on my site) to either MarketWire or BusinessWire.

Can you charge MarketWire/BusinessWire to publish their press releases on your website? Has anyone done that?

    Thanks!

First are you sure this is marketwire or businesswire that are actually contacting you?

I have never heard of this, but im sure its just like having ads on your site, so just ask them, you can charge them, depends on if they want to pay or not :)

    Thanks for your reply.

Yes, both MarketWire and BusinessWire contacted me. If you google their press releases, you will find their articles on all kinds of websites. Press release companies want to reach out to other websites so they can further spread news for their clients.
