I cant believe there are websites that get away with showing movies that are still out at the theaters.. Mind you the quality is bad in most cases, but still.. But check out how blatant it really is.. Just search Google for "watch movies". Crazy isnt it??
I know piracy is rampant, its just really surprising that these simple terms are pulling them up in the top positions on Google.
I agree, you can watch most any movie, even on Youtube, they get pulled pretty fast but not before thousands of people have saw it already.
In India english movies come online first and release late in theathres because hollywood movies release late here
ares.com is a website where you can download and see the latest movie recorded by guys with camcorder inside the theater the very first day of release....amazing...
People are making lots and loads of money while doing these types of things and are even advising on their blogs how to do it properly. What do you expect :-|
I agree surprising that the sites dont get shut down, I think there are legal issues tho because the site can simply link to something that someone else has uploaded. So its debatable whether they are doing anything 'wrong'. Not at all surprising that people are there to exploit the situation tho. I mean look at the number of torrent sites, or the existence of rapidshare.
I am guilty of visiting these websites But for really good movies I prefer to watch them in the movies houses.
There is something lame about watching a movie, meant to be viewed on a huge screen, with 800 speakers, on your stupid 17" monitor and Creative Labs speakers
