OK, well please feel free to police my site anytime now because all is fixed I believe.......

Seriously, I do not intentionally want to break any rules and I do not want to lose any of my advertising accounts...

    Come on in and police..

talkandmore.net My site has been dead ever since the portal install so I could use some visitors.. I bet you won't find anything now...

Richieboy67 most members here wish you the best and so does Digital Point, but you should have Google review your pages if you are worried.

Glad you got things straightened out and hope your site is a smash success.

    Welcome to Digital Point man....

    Listen buddy,

It isn't about policing. It is about many of us using AdWords to advertise and then paying out the ying yang because a few bad apples use their adsense in an illegal manner. It costs us money because when the users on your site click to support your site, they are in turn dinging our account because they are not actual purchasing customers.

Many here are in competitive battles for high paying keywords and as such, when they see what you were doing (whether by mistake or not) they are pissed. In this case, they were right and you were wrong. Ignorance does not remove you from being wrong. I think some here would have PM'd you, if they knew you were here. If I did find someone who was marketing my keywords or ads on their site and had what you had, I would report them too... If not, I would (and have) probably emailed the webmaster and let them know what the TOS say.

You were a victim of bad timing, but you were still wrong. You admitted it and have fixed it. I have forgiven you but others may not have, but many will assume you have done it purpose or failed to read the TOS, both of which are not very good. Best of luck....

NC, if Joey would have left a dead link instead of a live link he would have never found this thread in the first place

So when members do something like this, they should remember something called a referral now shouldn't they

It was not my intention to sound snide in my last post.. I apoligize if it sounded that way.

I just thought that it could be helpful for me for you guys to take a look and see if I am unintentionally doing anything else against the rules..

and yes, I am alerted whenever anyone links to my site....

    Thanks for the help..

If anyone has ever watched TV they have seen programs that ask the viewer to support our sponsors please by watching these commercials.

It just happens to be against Google's TOS to solicit clicks, but you do not deserve the death penalty at the same time.

Again welcome to Digital Point, you just got here through the back door man :p  :p

Yea, I just think that people need to look at all angles. We have a right to bitch (those whose AdWords account would have been displayed on the guilty site) and the site who was guilty deserves to have their say... with that said, RichieRich was in the wrong, has admitted it and corrected it... Good enough for me unless it happens again...

Thanks for these last few posts.. I sure don't feel as angry...

    See you guys around :)

Not to rattle your cage or anything, but it is threads like this one and others that have forced me to actually read ,word for word, Google's AdSense TOS.

Kinda boring read, but if you choose to do this you may not have to say the above statement.
