Yes, they do. I reported a site with hidden text/keywords and the guy got an email about it a day or two later.

I dont see any google ads. I think they were removed by google.

 

Must have just happened...they were up 1/2 hour ago...guess G does take this serious. It will be interesting to see how long the one that started this thread stayts up. My guess is not long.

 

well, considering the message, ctr probably skyrocketed recently anyway.

its amazing how ppl think that the money doesn't just sprout out of nowhere....

if only they are so responsive to the other types of emails (e.g. queries) we send them...

 

hmm... the thread requesting visitors to click the ads have been removed... but the google ads are still showing... someone must have alerted the guy...

 

I'm sure Google has a cache of that page...

 

Wow - someone gave me bad rep just cause I placed this post in GOOGLE instead of Adsense -- silly me, I thought it was relevant to both adsense and adwords - ROFL Thanks to whoever left the bad rep.

Yeah, I would have liked to see it too.

Does anyone feel bad about reporting adsense violations? I've made a .txt file full of sites I found violating or asking for clicks, and I would just send it to G right away, but some of these sites seem pretty genuine. Do I just let Google take care of them, and give them a warning? Should I email the webmasters of these sites?

 

It just amazed me - I got a good laugh out of it anyway

 

Why would you feel bad? Haven't you ever advertised using adwords? You are looking for clients and end up with a bunch of idiot kids clicking on your ads and wasting your money.

 

I tried adwords...terrible

I bid up to $1/click just for my ads to even be seen by terrestial life, and then I get bam!!! 42 clicks and a single sale..w00t

And it cost me good money. For only 2 sales. Disabling content advertising helps alot though.
