Can you become a senior editor in Wikipedia?

    We all have used Wikipedia.

It has a pathetic system for getting a consensus. I believe they should use vbulletin poll and forum system for discussion.

Anyways, does anyone know if it is possible to become a senior editor in Wikipedia? How much time does it take? How should it be done?

I don't see the point, even as a senior member your comments or links you add are still checked and you can still get rejected quite easily I am sure.

My biggest problem is achieving consensus, and whenever you make corrections, they are reverted. And there is no direct way to contact admins or senior editors, other than posting on the Talk page.

I hope Wikipedia improves the system.

It's a big ugly pool of mass chaos if you ask me. I suppose the only reason it's achieved relevance is because for any individual to change something on the site, they have to deal with 4-7 other people trying to revert their edits. So essentially everything stays the same. Except for the people who make 4000 minor edits to pages, fixing typos, and then they become editors/admin, whatever it's called.
