    Since it seems that a lot of people focused on the blogging route, here are a few revenue sharing sites you could check out.

    Associated Content (www.associatedcontent.com)

    Accepts lots of articles, you can get some upfront payment. Flat rate of $1.50 per 1000 visits on your articles.

    Helium (www.helium.com)

    Great writing community. You can write on a variety of topics, but your earnings aren't as "predictable." No flat rate, but your articles will earn money over time.

    Xomba (www.xomba.com) and Rate It All (www.rateitall.com)

    Haven't tried these two, but they both let you self-publish what you want and attach your Google adsense id to it. You get half the page-views directed to your adsense account, and therefore half the revenue. Good because you can track the stats in Adsense (unlike helium and AC).

    Good luck,

    So far so good everyone. Its encouraging to know that there are some routes to take besides the standard "build a website" route.

    On a side note though, can a WYSWYG editor still be effective in building a site geared towards adsense and other earning avenues?

    CMS? Template being web template I assume. I guess I have some more reading to do on DP on all of this. Also, is this an effective enough way to may decent adsense earnings?

    I just want to see what else the is outside of blogging for HTML/web authoring challenged individuals such as myself.

    CMS = Content Management System

    One of the most popular CMSs is Wordpress. Most people use it for blogs, but you can use it for static sites as well. You just create "pages" instead of "posts".

    Here is a free ebook that explains using Wordpress at a very introductory level: http://www.caroline-middlebrook.com/blog/niche-sites-wp/
