Can you be penalised for too many links?

    Here's the deal, dudes.

    If you want to be looked at as a quality site, run you site as a quality site. It's as simple as that.

    I'd say there are about 5 general directories worth submitting to. Yahoo, JoeAnt, MSN, GoGuides, and maybe a few others. Submitting to niche directories is a little different.

    Directories aren't Atomic Bomb Links by any means. At best they, are low level grenades. However, if you pay $40 for a permanent low level grenade @ Joeant.com I'd do it. That's a great deal that his hard to pass up.

    Over a 3 year period, that link ends up being a little over $1 per month. That is hard to beat.

    This reminds me of the kids who bought the boxes of baseball cards. Not the packs....the opened boxes. You know that EVERY good player has already been taken out. What's the point of buying a box of common cards?

    I know that 600 blogs sounds like a lot, but what is 600 useless links going to do for you? Even if it only costs $10, so what? Why waste $10?
