Can you ask G a question while you're violating the ToS?

Can you ask Google if your placement for the ads (for example) is in violation of the ToS even though they could be?

Will Google ban you if they found out that it does violate the ToS?

In other words, Can I send Google an email saying check my Adsense placement when the placement could very much be in violation of the ToS?

The key is to send them to a page that is not open for public viewing. Call it a hidden/test page that has been mocked up for their viewing and that you would like to implement this type of format and wish to know if it is compliant.

They will. In fact I just did this a few days ago. The page was reviewed (could tell from the logs) and I was told it was in compliance. As to whether or not it matters if the page is already public, it may, I had one that I asked about after policies changed and was told I needed to change something. I did and let them know...they reviewed it again and said I was good to go. This was on a live page.

If you are asking them, they will not ban you.

But if the violation has been in place for a long time and now you are asking them, you've got a problem.

    Peace,
